AML/KYC Policy of PureChange Service

1. General Provisions

1.1 Service Provider – PureChange exchange service.

1.2 Customer – user who has used the service.

1.3 High-risk criteria that may be detected during AML verification: Mixer, Sanctions, Ransom, Gambling, Scam, Malware, Dark Market, Dark Service, Stolen Coins, Terrorism Financing, Fraudulent Exchange, Illegal Service, Child Exploitation, Fraud Shop, Enforcement Action, High-Risk Jurisdiction, Special Measures, Online Pharmacy.

1.4 The Service Provider following to the principles of anti-money laundering (AML) and customer due diligence (KYC) in order to minimize the risks of fraud and illegal transactions.

1.5 The Service Provider will never enter into any agreement with a natural or legal person suspected or directly involved in money laundering or in case it is known that the funds were obtained as a result of illegal activities.

1.6 The Service Provider does not provide additional services to analyze the future transaction and does not answer the Customer's questions related to the possible risk of the exchange transaction or conversion of funds.

1.6.1 Customer is responsible for the purity of his funds

1.6.2 In case of doubts about the purity of funds, the Customer should independently check the degree of risk on open specialized sites or on the sites provided by the Service Provider upon request.

2. AML/KYC Procedures

2.1 The Contractor uses an automated risk assessment system to identify suspicious transactions. In case of detection of the total risk of at least 25% or presence of at least one of the high risk criteria (see clause 1.3 for the list of criteria) of at least 0.01%, the transaction is suspended and the Customer is offered to undergo KYC-checking in order to receive a refund (clause 3.1)

2.2 Requirements for KYC-checking:

2.2.1 The Customer is required to do the following:

Record a good quality video selfie of him/her holding his/her passport close to Customer face. The passport details must be clearly visible and legible. Then, without interrupting the recording, demonstrate the wallet or account from which the funds were sent. The hash of the transaction and the sender's wallet address must be clearly visible in the video.

2.2.2 Additional requirements:

Screenshots, photos, screen recordings are not accepted.
Demonstration of the transaction in the blockchain instead of the wallet or account from which the funds were sent will not be accepted.

3. Refund of Assets That Failed AML Verification

3.1 Refund is possible only after successful KYC verification (clause 2.2).

3.2 If the Customer fails to pass the KYC verification within 14 calendar days after the blocking, the funds are transferred to the full possession of the Service Provider without the possibility of return.

3.3 In case of successful KYC verification, the Service Provider is obliged to return the funds to the Customer to the sender's address (executed within 24 hours) or to any other address (executed within 10 days) at the Customer's request.

3.4 Refund is impossible if the assets have been requested by competent authorities and other agencies of any jurisdiction, as the blocked asset can be used as material evidence in a case.

4. Force Majeure

4.1. The Service Provider is not responsible for the use of the service for illegal purposes (legalization of criminal proceeds, terrorism financing, etc.).

4.2. The service provider is not responsible for any damage caused by the actions of third parties using the service

5. Relation to Main Rules

This policy is an addition to PureChange Rules and operates within their framework. In case of contradictions, provisions of the main document prevail.
